StudioRed was challenged to complete the packaging design and development for Plainsman gloves, while shifting their focus from older to younger millennial buyers. This included not just the packaging design, but also the point of sale packaging design. See below for examples of the design concepts and the design chosen to move forward to production and into stores like Walmart and Sam’s Club across the nation.

StudioRed developed a younger, fresher packaging look to attract the millennial generation while still appealing to the original customer base. Millennials prefer socially responsible companies, so the use of recycled materials and natural colors were chosen. Traditional graphics were used to hold onto the older market.

These packages were designed to standout alone, but also as a part of a larger display case, while still incorporating the use green materials.
