The Savi PDK is a ruggedized autonomous inventory management system utilizing RFID to manage inventory on front line battlefields, refugee settlements and disaster areas. Our challenge was to create a Savi branded product system which was ergonomically organized but allowed for quick access and set up.

The unit then had to pass a 48″ drop test 26 times and still remain fully operational and remain under 70 lbs in order to maintain portability and allow a two person team to carry it.

With careful use of high strength steel and state of the art dampeners, along with a pressure formed foam storage compartment that added additional support inside the unit, we were able to exceed the requirements of the client while creating an attractive, easy to use system for the end user.
