StudioRed has created consumer products that are in use in millions of homes around the county and around the world. These are just a few examples of our work in this field that demonstrate both the high standards of the company and the broad scope of our design work. Images of each one can be found on our website StudioRed.com.
Motorola HH1620 – This broadband home hub ring provides wireless connectivity to multiple PCs, and its unique design allows it to be oriented in many different ways while still providing effective cable access and efficient cooling.
The Compaq Itsy – A small, lightweight camera with 32MB of RAM, 32MB of flash memory, and a Linux operating system, the compact design and friendly user-interface has drawn positive attention from consumers wherever it has been shown.
Leapfrog Intelligent Globe – As an example of thinking outside the box (or sphere in this case), the Leapfrog Intelligent Globe completely changed the traditional expectations of what a globe is. Not only does it provide unique rotation and interactive design, it’s the only globe ever designed that can actually be periodically updated using overlays and computer software to allow for the most up-to-date political and geographic changes. The design has been recognized by developers, parents, and educators.
Allen Gunbags – These soft firearm cases needed to be easy to open and protect a wide variety of rifle designs. Furthermore, Allen wished to expand the appeal of the design because while most users are men, a growing segment of their consumer base is women as well. StudioRed was able to meet both the desire for functionality and broad appeal for its target audience.
Matrix Reloaded Sunglasses – Perhaps one of the most high-profile of StudioRed’s products was the sunglasses made for the Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions films. Our designers worked with the producers of the movies to create three designs that would be unique for each character, and then worked to produce them for a mass market.
