The SmartEdge 1200 platform, designed by Studio Red, is a high volume broadband routing system capable of serving HDTV, HiDef Video on Demand and other broadband services. Aimed to work with the growing integration of voice, video and data services, the SmartEdge 1200 positions RedBack at the center of the edge-routing market. The Studio Red team not only provided the striking language of the SmartEdge 1200, but also called upon its long experience in ergonomics and cable management to intelligently handle the routing of the large volume of fiber optic lines feeding into the unit.
