| Following the success of the WANMaker, Larscom wanted to expand the mounting environment of the product, now rechristened as part of the Terra family of Wide Area Network devices. Studio Red was asked to adapt their award winning language to a rack-mounted scenario, resulting in the TerraMux WAN device. This language became the basis for an series of new products from Larscom: the 6000 series Multi-Service Delivery Platforms and the Orion 4500 Multiplexer. These network appliances have helped position Larscom as one of the premier providers of high speed network access equipment in the industry.
