| Octet is the new flagship product offering from ForteBio. Studio RED’s design goal was to create a product that addressed the usability and access for the main unit and the removable disposable tip tray. The goal was to create an elegant product with a prominent visual brand language that also looked simple and easy to use. The resulting design uses a half round door because it provided the greatest user access while taking up the least amount of precious lab bench space. Electronics are isolated in the back for easy assembly and service, and waste materials are removed from a tray accessed from the front. Studio RED created the design language, executed the Mechanical Engineering and built the first 10 Beta units for initial customer testing. |
