Industrial Design In the crowded IP edge router market segment, the Industrial Design is the visual brand and product differentiator. Thermal issues and usability become major drivers of the look and feel and a unique color choice gave the proper balance of sophistication and reliability.

The Studio RED Engineering team completed the entire mechanical design for the front bezels, and worked hand in hand with Industrial Design and the Prototype shop to build the final solution.

StudioRED prototyped Corona’s first units, proving the engineering design. A low cost stamping tool was created to manufacture the air intake perforated metal grill, allowing for a viable cost effective solution for the Industrial Design.
