This helps to maintain tight schedules, improves quality and fosters real-time improvement of engineering objectives. We can deliver high-tolerance, complex forms from our multiple CNC machines, casting & painting departments. NEW from Studio Red... • Urethane Molding – utilizing specially designed automated equipment, a liquid catalyzed material is injected directly into a mold. This is an ideal method to create parts in volumes of 100-1000 units and has the flexibility of using RTV rubber, epoxy or aluminum tools. Because of its fast injection time and 20-pound shot size, extremely large parts can also be processed. Urethane molds are much lower in cost than injection molds with lead times as little as one week. • Model-building - visual models that look like the real product including color, texture, graphics and features that replicate exact details of a production solution. • Prototyping - our Fadal CNC milling machines can produce parts up to 30x40x16 inches in size. The same geometry provided to the manufacturer is utilized to produce parts within the tolerance of the manufactured product. In addition, this allows us to produce multiple parts before production tooling is completed. • RTV Molds - produced from master patterns exactly matching the geometry of the engineered component. These patterns can be textured or clear. We guarantee 25 parts per mold but can achieve as many as 50-75 parts per mold. Additional molds are produced from the same master pattern for consistency in production. • Cast Urethane Parts - allows you to receive low-volume production enclosures before the expense of higher-volume production tooling. We can provide products for early beta testing, first year production needs or small quantities required for test marketing. Urethanes are available in either colored or clear, with various durometers from rubber-like to plastic-like, including UL flame-rated grades. • Production Painting - using the DuPont ChromaVision® Color Matching System we can match almost any color, including metallics. With this system in-house we can meet client needs quickly and without concern.
